Thank you for visiting my blog. Hopefully you will find something worthy of the minute and a half you spend looking at it. If not, I do apologize. You and I probably do not have anything in common. If my blog does spark some interest to you, you are likely to come across frequent ramblings about life working in an office, my constant battle to figure out what I want to do with my life, stories about my family, my relationship with God, the influence art has on my life, and what kind of shoes I have on. Interested or not, feel free to share. Below each blog entry you will find an opinion bar. Let me know if you like, dislike, find it interesting, funny, or confusing. I also try to post a picture every day. My blogging may be few and far between depending on the busyness of life, but you can almost always count on a daily snapshot. Enjoy.
"We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And Medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But, poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for. To quote from Whitman, "O me! O life!... of the questions of these recurring; of the endless trains of the faithless... of cities filled with the foolish; what good amid these, O me, O life?" Answer. That you are here- that life exists, and identity; that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?" - John Keating, Dead Poet's Society
